Job Description: Do you have ink for blood? The Rawlins Daily Times, a community-first, five-day-a-week newspaper in south central Wyoming, seeks an assistant editor/lead reporter who can elevate the level of reporting in our newsroom. As the lead reporter, you'll cover education and health, two tough beats. As assistant editor, you'll lead the Daily Times' new effort, a magazine that replaces our special sections, and fill in for the editor as necessary. Candidates should be leaders, hardworking and have editing experience, solid grasp of AP and strong copy-editing and page design skills. We'll also look at strong reporters who are looking to gain their first editing experience as well.
